Academic Session at Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya

The Academic Session is counted from July to June. Admission commences immediately after the publication of results and closes as per the schedule for admission notified by the College within the time limit framed by the Calcutta University.

Admission Procedure

	The College will announce the dates regarding Admission related procedures and they will be published in the College Notice board and our website also
	Candidates need to submit the completed form duly attested, whereever required
	The Merit List comprising the names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the notice board
	The candidate needs to complete the admission formality within 3 days of publishing the merit list, failing which his rights to admission will be withdrawn.

Note

The College will not be responsible for the subsequent cancellation of admission due to suppression or misstatement of facts by students at the time of admission or any disqualification attached as per C.U. norms.

Item No. 11, 12 and 13 of the admission form must be duly verified and authenticated by the Head of the Institution where from the candidate passed the last qualifying examination.

Documents Required

	Mark sheet and Admit Card for H .S. or equivalent examination and Admit Card for Madhyamik Pariksha (all in original) for admission to Degree Class.
	Transfer certificate whenn one comes from another college
	A letter from the legal guardian appointing a local guardian when a student will not live with his / her parents
